Bowler Rankings 2006 (all teams)

Sunday, March 11th, 2007

Varaiya of Kenya was the best One Day Bowler in 2006!! Wow! He took a phenomenal 12 wickets in just 6 matches he played, at a miserly economy rate of 3.15 RPO and an average of 13.5 RPW taking a wicket every 25.6 balls he bowled. Well, well, we have some potential there. I hope he doesn’t vanish after this..

Shaun Pollock at No. 2 is no surprise. As reliable as always he has blossomed into a handsome allrounder off late. But his mainstay is bowling, and he took 32 wickets in 21 matches he played, at a miserly economy rate of 2.98 RPO and an average of 17.34 RPW taking a wicket every 34.8 balls he bowled.

Abdur Razzak of Bangladesh is at No. 3 (different from Abdul Razzak of Pakistan). He took 45 wickets in 26 matches he played, at a miserly economy rate of 3.49 RPO and an average of 17.95 RPW taking a wicket every 30.8 balls he bowled.

Leverock of Bermuda at No. 4Â took 15 wickets in 11 matches he played, at a miserly economy rate of 3.2 RPO and an average of 20.86 RPW taking a wicket every 39 balls he bowled. We hope he can Leave-Rock the boat of a Star Team (read Sri Lanka, India or Bangladesh)

Bangladesh has 5 players in top 16.
