Let us appeal to the Indian Cricket Control Board (BCCI) to have a Transparent Selection System. They should implement the following:

    1. Lay a point based transparent system for Indian team’s player selection
    2. Lay a point based transparent system for Probables for the Indian team
    3. Lay a point based transparent system for Deselection of players (for dropping non-performing players)
    4. Lay a point based transparent system for comeback of dropped players (a wee bit easier than fresh inclusions)

If there is a problem designing the system, I for one offer my services for FREE to design a solid selection system. I am offering 2 immediate possibilities:

    a. Each player’s match performance points can be automated (Democrat system)
    b. Each player’s match performance points can be awarded on by selectors (Replican system)

Which one do you prefer? Or better you can vote for it right now (in polls on the right side of the home page)

Whatever the system, let us vote to make it Transparent.

I appeal to you my cricket fan friends to leave your comments under this posting “Appeal to have a Transparent System” and we would forward it to ICC and BCCI once we have sufficient support. Do leave your real name and address so that we make it authentic.

If this doesn’t work, we would like to use the RTI Act (Right to Information Act) to ask for the selection criteria for each Series henceforth. Let us Change the Indian Cricket Selection system to save one game which brings joy to a lot of Indian all over the world!
