IPL T20 Team Rankings 2009

IPL LeagueIPL League

Well the tournament has begun and looking at first few matches. I would stick my neck out and try and make a few predictions. Well looks like CSK, DD and KXIP are the best bets for semifinals. And a toss up between MI, RCB, and DC for the last berth. However, RR and KKR look weaker in my analysis.

Chennai Super Kings - MS Dhoni, Flintoff, Hayden, Raina - 14.25
(others: Badrinath, Balaji, Fleming, Gony, Ntini)

Delhi Daredevils - Gambhir, Sehwag, Vettori - 13.5
(others: Collingwood, DeVilliers, Dilshan, McGrath, Maharoof, Warner)

Kings XI Mohali - Yuvraj, Brett Lee, Shaun Marsh, Sangkarra - 13
(others: Bopara, Katich, Hopes, Pathan)

Mumbai Indians - Jaysuriya, Tendulkar, Harbhajan, Zaheer - 11.75
(others: Bravo, Duminy, Malinga)

Royal Challengers, Bangalore - Kevin Pietersen, Dale Steyn, Jesse Ryder, Ross Taylor - 11.75
(others: Praveen Kumar, Kallis, Virat Kohli)

Deccan Chargers, Hyderabad - Symonds, Styris - 11.5
(others: Gilchrist, Edwards, Gibbs, Rohit Sharma, Vaas, Venugopal Rao)

Kolkata Knight Riders - Brendon McCullum, Gayle - 10.25
(others: Ganguly, Mortaza, Mendis, David Hussey, Ishant Sharma)

Rajasthan Royals, Jaipur - Shane Watson, Mascarenhas - 7.75
(others: Graeme Smith, Munaf Patel, Yusuf Pathan)

Do post your lineups, I would love to hear what others have to say.
